Wow! This is the kind of deal I just love! The Staples sale flyer in the weekend paper had a $5.00 off $20.00 purchase coupon in it. After rebates, combined with the awesome sales they had, I will have made a profit of $1.84 and all my products will be FREE! Hurry! This deal won’t last long!
Here’s what I got and the math on my deal:
The Math on my receipt:
REBATES: $25.34
I paid $23.50 for my products and I will receive $25.34 in Staples rebates making all my products free and I’ll make a profit of $1.84! If you don’t have the weekend paper with the $5.00 coupon in it, this is still a fantastic deal!
Staples rebates are super easy to submit! The rebate form prints off at time of purchase, and can be submitted easily online. I have done this before and LOVE the process!
I am going to show you how I spent $8.65 at Walgreens today and came home with $12.00 in Register Rewards! I did a total of 6 transactions. I could have done this with much less out of pocket by using fillers that were at least $0.25, but I really wanted the Jif peanut butters! To date, this is the best deal I’ve found on Jif, which is the only brand my family will eat, and we eat a lot of it.
I bought 4 Jif peanut butters, 2 Crystal Light drink mixes, and 6 Ecotrin asprins. What’s funny is that we don’t use Ecotrin, nor does anyone else in my family that I’ve polled, but since Walgreens was paying me $2.00 per box to bring it home, I figured I might as well do it!!! If I can’t give them to someone who uses them, I will donate them to Manna or the local shelter.

I would love to hear how about your trip to Walgreens! If you blog, leave me a link to your Walgreens scenario and I’ll share it!
The following is a list of household items that I will NEVER buy again! Or, for some of them, I will pay no more than a very small percentage of the retail cost. Of course, these are items my family and I use practically every day. Stick with me, and I will show you how I obtain these items using coupons and sales for FREE or next to FREE. Walgreens is my store of choice when shopping for these deals.
NEVER pay full or even reduced retail prices for the following Brand Name items. They can be obtained FREE by using coupons, store sales, and store incentive plans. Of course, you do have to pay the tax.
Are you a couponer/ bargain hunter? Do you have a stockpile of household essentials that you obtained for next to nothing? I’d love to hear from you!
Are you interested to learn how I do this? Stick around! I’ll be posting deal scenarios as I come across them, so you too can start saving major money!
